Since 1972, we’ve worked side-by-side with you to keep our local parks beautiful and our streets clean. Our depot isn't just a place to drop off items; it’s a community hub where we work together to keep jobs local and ensure our planet stays healthy for the next generation.
Location
We are located at 10092 – 236th Street, Maple Ridge, right off River Road in the Albion Industrial Park. If you remember the old Albion Ferry terminal, we’re just west of there!
2026 Maple Ridge Recycling Depot Hours
We’re here seven days a week to help you clear out those bins!
Monday – Saturday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (April 1 – September 30)
Monday – Saturday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (October 1 – March 31)
Sundays & Holidays: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
The depot is closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day so our team can spend time with their families.
OFFICE HOURS: 8:00am – 5:00pm MONDAY through FRIDAY

It can be tricky to remember what goes where. We accept over 200 different items for FREE drop-off. By sorting these carefully, we make sure they actually get turned into something new and useful. See what can be recycled.
Please try to sort your recycling at home before you come down to the depot. It saves you time at the bins and helps our hardworking team keep the materials clean. When our loads are clean, manufacturers can easily turn them into new products!

Where Your Sorting Becomes Something New
Have you ever wondered what happens after you drop off your items? Think of us as an intermediate processing hub, the essential bridge between your home and a manufacturer.
For an item to be truly recycled, it has to be clean and pure enough for a manufacturer to turn it into a brand-new product. Here is how we make that happen together:
- The Multi-Sort system: The best way to keep materials valuable is to keep them separated. When you sort your recycling into different categories at home, it ensures those materials stay clean all the way to the manufacturer.
- The Human Touch: Throughout the day, our dedicated team works by hand to remove things that don’t belong in the bins. When you sort as much as possible at home, you’re giving our front-line team a huge hand!
- Cleanliness: If too much garbage or the wrong material gets mixed in, the entire load might be rejected. Your careful sorting ensures nothing goes to waste.
- Ready to Ship: Once the materials are perfectly sorted, most items, like paper and plastic containers are compressed into bales right here on-site. These are then loaded onto trucks and sent off to be transformed into new items.
